Silver Screen Set

The Silver Screen Hat and Scarf Set by Patons is a wonderful free crochet pattern designed specifically for Patons Metallic Yarn. While I have not had the pleasure of creating this gorgeous crochet design in the suggested yarn, this is one of the most popular and requested items I make.
 

This free crochet slouch hat and keyhole scarf pattern design will complement any style and is a great gift for all ages. Comprised of a few  basic crochet stitches this pattern is of average difficulty.

The sets that are pictured here were made with Caron Simply Soft yarn. It is a super soft acrylic yarn that has a nice sheen to it that really shows off the details of the stitch work on this piece.

 The classic Fan and V stitch that gives this crochet item such visual interest is written out in this pattern and there are also some diagrams for you to follow along with as well. If you have ever wanted to learn how to use crochet charts or diagrams this is a great introduction as you can see both the written pattern and diagram along side each other.
